With  the  current  trend  in  Uganda,  having  major  macro economic problems  like  Inflation, recession,unemployment accompanied  with retrenchment  and retirement, balance  of  payment  problems   among   others. , there’s   need   to   start  up   new  businesses  but ,  If  you   got   all  the  money  you  needed  to  start   up  a  business, which   one  would   you  do  and  how  unique   would  it   be    from  the  rest? There’s   quite  a  hidden  mystery   of  a  multi- billion  dollar  industry  that  hasn’t  been  recognized  by  many. Your  plan  is  your  map  to  your  destiny.

GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES

Get   rich quick  schemes  are  never   genuine . It  is  impossible  to  earn  money  that  you’ve  not   worked  for  unless  it  is  a   transfer  earning  like  inherited   wealth  or  un employment  benefits   for  developed    countries. No   one  is  lucky   in life  because  luck    stands  for:

SOLVING INFLATION

There  are  mainly  two  kinds  of  policies  followed: the monetary  and the fiscal policy.In the  monetary  policy ,there  is control of the foreign exchange rate  which  is  fixed  in relation  to another  foreign currency  or  on valuable  commodities  like gold. However  this  highly  depends  on the level of inflation.

The  central  bank  will  increase  the  lending or bank  rate to commercial banks  which  in turn increase interest rates on money borrowed which  discourages  the public  from acquiring loans  hence reduction  of money  circulation in the public.

During  inflation, the central  bank  will  sell  securities like bonds  and  treasury  bills to  commercial banks  and the public  which  will  reduce  the  circulation  of money  in the public

The central bank  also increases  the legal Reserve Requirement  to commercial  banks  that  will  still work towards reduction  of circulation of money in the public.

With  the  fiscal policy, this  involves  increasing  taxes  and  reduction  of  government  expenditure  on  non  productive  ventures. The  government  has  to  spend   more  on  agriculture  to  increase  food  production  that  will in turn  reduce  food  prices  hence improving  the standard  of  living.

IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE

A  number  of  us  know  that  not  knowing  about  anything  can  never  make  you  innocent if  found  in the  wrong. But  how  many  of us  know   and  care  about  our  well  being  in terms  of  health. A lot  of  people  treasure  money  more  than  their  health. We  never  get  to appreciate  the  value  of  our  lives  until  we  are  sick  and  to  the  extremes. After  we  have  gotten  health  complications  then  get  all  ways  of  soliciting  for money  to  retain  our  health.  We  daily  inhale  toxins  from  exhaust  fumes from  cars,industries,smokers   and  other  environmental  toxins  but  with  time  our  bodies  will  be  affected  by  the  long  term effect  of  free  radicals  caused  by  this  oxidation  process  and  lead  to chronical  diseases  like  cancer and  heart  disease.You  need  to detoxify  your  body. Just   food  for  thought.You  are all  welcome  for  advice.

INFLATION

Inflation  is  the general price increase  caused by  factors  on both the demand and supply side of the economy. The monetarists  say it is brought about by alot  of money in circulation  which will eventually depreciate in value since money  is expected to be a scarce medium of exchange. The Keynesians  say it is caused when the aggregate demand  for  basic commodites like food,fuel prices is higher  than the aggregate supply. This is called the supply shock kind of inflation.

However, for it to be controlled, various  measures like the monetary and fiscal  policies  have to work hand  in hand. I  commend  the central  bank of Uganda for  the wonderful work  done so far for lowering the headline inflation rate to 21.2% by March 2012 from 30.4% in November 2011.

HEALTH ECONOMIST

I   graduated  as   an  economist  something  that  was to  help  me  earn  a  living.But  I realised  that  having wealth  without  health was  all in  vain.Therefore  I  embarked  on  availing myself  will all the relevant knowledge to have optimal  health.I also discovered  very many undermined  truths   that I  have developed the desire to share with people having  health challenges.Treating  symptoms  is  a temporal  solution to the problem. Dealing with the root cause  of the matter is rather more important.

ALL THINGS WORKING TOGETHER

Several  things  good  and  bad  do  happen in our  lives  either by our own mistakes or  by other  people's bad intensions. But did  you  know  that God  can turn them all for  your  good  and for your  blessings.

Always  think  of  how you can  be  a blessing  or a source  of  help  to people  and  in  so  doing  God  will  bless you  as  well. For  the  things  that  seem  impossible  in  your  life  are just  a  count  of  time . When the  right  time  comes, it  will  all  be  a  history. For  as  long  as  you’re  doing  God’s  will, every thing  that  was  pre destined  by  him  in your  life  will come  to pass. When  the  fullness  of  time   had  come, God  sent forth  his  son to be born  of  a woman. Even when  I  pass through the valley  of the  shadow  of  death I will fear  no evil  for  you’re  with me.Your  shepherd  rod  and  staff  comfort  me.

HEALTH IS WEALTH

                                   

      Health   is  wealth   means  you  treasure  your  well being   more  than  your  financial wellness. To  most  of  the  people  wealth   is  health. It   is  unfortunate  that   most  of  them never  take  time  to find  out  how  they  are  progressing   health wise and  only  wake  up  when  they  get  that  bad  report  from  the  doctor when  it   is too late. But  every one  of  us knows  that  prevention  is  better  than cure. Before   you criticize   anything , please   find  out  the  detail  of  the matter.

It  is surprising  to know  that  people  tend  to care  more  and show  love  when  some one  is  dead than  when  they are  alive. So  take  your  health  as priority by  feeding  yourself  with all the  necessary knowledge.

EASTER

 

During  the triumphant   entry  of  Jesus   to  Jerusalem, we  see  people  hailing  him  as  the  King of  Kings,laying  down  their  mats, palm  leaves  for  the donkey  to  pass  on.

Yelling  Hossana  “Blessed  is he  who  comes  in the name  of the  lord”

It  is  surprising  to know  that  the  same  people  that  were  praising  him  were  the  same  people  agitating  for  him  to  be crucified  that  he  was  calling  himself  the  King  of  the  Jews.

It  was  the  Lord’s  will  for  all  this  to be done.

The Bible  says  in 1 Peter  3:19   that  he  went  and  preached  un to spirits  in prison. Have you ever  asked  yourself  how  the  people  who  lived before  Jesus  could  have  heard  about  the  his  gospel?

The only  way  was  for  him  to be  dead  and  get  the  opportunity  to  preach  to  them. It  is  interesting  to know  that  many of  those  who  had  died,  rose  and  were seen  by  many. Thanks  to  our  God  the ruler  of  everything.

THE WAY OF MAN

The   heart  is  deceiptful   above  all  things,desperately   wicked , who  can  know  it (Jeremiah  17:9)

Have  you  ever  imagined  why  most  people  behave  strangely  the  way  they do ?

The  reason  is  simple, The way  of  man  is  not  in himself, it  is  not in man that  walks  to direct  his  steps. (Jeremiah 10:23). The  bible  says  cursed  is  he that  puts  his  trust  in  man.Do  you  know  that  the  people  praising  you  today  will  be  the same  people  against  you  tomorrow? That’s  man’s  nature.

It  is only  God  that  can  change  your  heart  to do  the good  things.He  desires  mercy  and  not  sacrifice, the  knowledge  of  God  more  than burnt  offerings (Hosea  6:6). Every   thing  that  God  requires  of us  is  about  transformation  of  the  heart.

The  Lord  doesn’t  want  us  to glory  in  our  wisdom, might, riches but  rather  to  glory  in  knowing  him and  understanding  him  and  that  he  is  the  lord  that  exercises  loving  kindness,judgement  and  righteousness  in  the  earth.(Jeremiah 9:23).  If  you  want  God  to  change  your  ways, just  pray  he  will  do  it.
